Honors course description
English 9 Honors is an advanced course that challenges students to attain a deeper understanding of the content they are already responsible for, as well as a wider grasp of the English language as new content is introduced during the seminar. You must be able to effectively manage the additional workload that being in Honors requires, in addition to your regular coursework. Honors assignments will include reading, writing, discussions, presentations, and projects.

Communication: Unscripted Presentation
Meetings
The Honors seminar occurs 50 minutes (in addition to regular classtime). Tentatively, Honors is scheduled for Tuesday afternoons from 4:10 - 5 pm sharp, weekly, unless otherwise notified.
**More than three absences a semester will result in an automatic drop from the Honors class.

Be sensitive about your subject and to your audience, but WAKE THEM UP! Direct your message to your audience (city officials and able voters). Do connect your messages and develop 1 website to house everything and easily share via facebook, insta, twitter, and whatever gizmoos you all use.

Avoid putting yourself in any danger or potentially risky situations. Leave out a sense of personal feelings or beliefs, as opposed to persuading with evidence.
