The 2014-2015 school is Reyanna's third year at Da Vinci Design. She is a Southern California native, turned Nor Cal aficionado. Rey looks to incorporating meaningful and rigorous learning that engages students in a conscious eye for the world around them. She is passionate about cultivating precise writing, visual and verbal communication skills needed to enact the change they dream. Rey received her Bachelors of Arts in World Arts and Cultures from UCLA in 2010, studying visual and performance art (intercultural literacy). Much of her teaching instruction is rooted in her own experience with an interdisciplinary approach to education and inquiry of identity. In 2010, Rey went back to school for her Master's in Education and teaching credential in Secondary English at UCLA. Double BRUIN! She enjoys the bittersweet taste of espresso, a moody tune on the record player, her roommates, surfing Sunset & Tower 26 in Santa Monica, makin' moves on the dance floor, and (of course, English teacher obligation) a good book on a rainy day.
