12 Angry men by Reginald rose
12 Angry Men is a classic model of the unpredictable decision-making process of Jury Deliberation we must fulfill as American citizens. Students will read the play, taking on various juror roles, in order to examine rhetorical power and evaluate persuasive technique. After reading and discussion, students will listen to and read a modern court case, Serial, and apply the same evidence examination and persuasive rhetoric, modeled by 12 Angry Men by executing their own Jury Deliberation for the case against Adnan Syed.
