- Analyze mistakes or misconceptions that students might have when writing.
- Reconstruct your paper, revising the entire paper for this CONTENT essential skill.

- Look at Habits of Mind grades to self-evaluate all 3: Quality, Accountability, Collaboration.
- Identify one piece of evidence to support your score: see slide 14 of the SPRING ENGLISH POL PPT to identify what kind of evidence
- Identify a short Moment of Pride for each:"aha" moments, a time you succeeded, a time you failed - but learned something, etc.
- Identify a goal you have for next year: make goals that are specific and measurable. How will you be able to know you met the goal?
POL PREP ACCOUNTABILITY GRADE #1: MUST REMIND TEXT VANCE A PHOTO OF SLIDE 14 WHEN COMPLETE!
FRI
- Scan through your presentation 2 - 3 times: look for any major errors or aesthetic issues.
- Then, slide-by-slide, edit for content accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Review the Rubric: Make sure you have all the requirements and are aware of presentation requirements on Slide 17.
- Peer Feedback: Have the person sitting next to you look through your POL and provide Warm and Cool feedback. They should alert you of any mistakes and take notes on Slide 16.
- Rehearse presentation 3 times out loud, standing with gestures: Slide 17 has the Communication Rubric.
