Using the Innocence Project's website, research one person who was wrongfully convicted of a crime and later exonerated.
Responses must be typed and printed in MLA format.
Answer the following questions about that person (responses to questions 2-5 should be AT LEAST 5 sentences in length):
1) What is his or her name? How old was this person at the time of their conviction?
2) Describe the reason for this person's conviction in detail. What was the evidence presented against him or her? Does the evidence seem reliable to you? Was there adequate evidence to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that this person was guilty?
3) Explain why you think the jury returned a verdict of guilty. Be specific and use evidence from the article.
4) Explain the process for this person's exoneration. What did the Innocence Project do? Why was this appeal and later exoneration successful?
5) How does the case against your chosen person relate to the case against Adnan Syed? BE SPECIFIC and give evidence from Serial and the article.
